One of the many ways Herron School helped me to connect with community work, was through the commission program. A very powerful way the school uses to invite the community to engage
with art; meanwhile, it is a great bridge for students to use their knowledge to practice public art outside the school assignments.

During my two years program I participated in a total of 5 public commissions; projects that gave me the opportunity to put in practice my skills working with clients, control bill of materials, develop assembly strategies and meet delivery deadlines. Additionally, I studied
some law regulations related to installations for public spaces.
